The Free Software Foundation has published a letter and petition, free software free society signed by The Green Party of England and Wales, People and Planet, Friends of the Earth International, and The New Internationalist. It calls for social activists to avoid upgrading to Microsoft Vista, and to work on a free software migration strategy.
